cakemom wrote on Feb 23, '09, edited on Feb 23, '09 My two favorite cake and cupcake coverings are fondant and buttercream frosting, it stands well in our country's climate/humidity so never worry about your icing to fall off your cake and you can make lots of further decorations. Great ideas awaits you when your cake is covered neatly. Specially with fondant...I love fondant so much..my cupcake faces are my customers favorite (in my photo). Try marshmallow fondant with powder sugar instead of plain sugar, it retains shape better...Happy cooking!
